Behavior

• Swimmers will not be allowed in any part of the water unless it is their specified practice time.
• Swimmers should never play in spillway or parking lots, as this is a safety hazard.
• Swimmers are to show respect for all coaches, coordinators and fellow swimmers.
• Swimmers should not be talking to friends during coach instruction, as it is distracting to others around who are trying to learn. Use of any electronic device during practice is not allowed.
• If parents have questions about the coaches and/or their coaching methods, please address them with a coordinator first. During practice, the coaches’ time is to be spent teaching our swimmers, so please refrain from distracting them during these short sessions.

Inclement Weather

Summer weather can often be very unpredictable. Practices and meets will take place even in light rain. If it is raining heavily or if we experience thunderstorms, practices and/or meets will most likely be delayed or possibly cancelled. Swimmers need to be out of the pool for at least 30 minutes each time thunder is heard. So, in order to get information out to everyone quickly while we're at the pool or at meets, please download the SwimTopia mobile app. The mobile app will allow you to receive instant notifications regarding practice, meet and weather changes.
